Runway East's three newest sites were around 70% pre-sold before opening, St Paul's is next
Runway East's Covent Garden, Tottenham Court Road and Bristol Queen Square sites launched with about 70% of occupancy pre-sold on average. Its large St Paul's site at 200 Aldersgate is due in November.
Every operator hopes the desks will fill. Runway East's three newest sites had mostly filled before anyone had cut a ribbon. The sites in Covent Garden, Tottenham Court Road and Bristol's Queen Square launched with an average of 70% of their occupancy pre-sold, with more than 1,000 desks sold across the trio before opening day. Now a fourth, in St Paul's, is due in November. The three sites that sold before they opened All three have now opened. Here is the quick tour: Covent Garden , Shaftesbury Avenue: a minute from Tottenham Court Road station, with private offices for teams of 2 to 100, 19 meeting rooms to use and a vinyl listening studio for when your ears need a break from video calls (and your colleagues' hold music). Tottenham Court Road : a Grade II listed 1930s building a few steps from the station, with private offices for teams of 2 to 90, 20 meeting rooms and phone booths, a large boardroom, a members' lounge and a roof terrace. Bristol Queen Square : 43 Queen Square, between the harbourside and the Old City, with private offices for teams of 3 to 75+, nine meeting rooms, nine phone booths and a private courtyard with an outdoor bar. It is a neat spread: two sites in central London and one in Bristol. And pre-sold simply means occupiers committed before they could walk the finished floors, which is a fair hint at how quickly a well-located new site can fill. Some people book the best seat before the cinema has even opened. Next up: St Paul's, 200 Aldersgate The fourth site is the big one, and it is not shy about it. Runway East St Paul's at 200 Aldersgate is due to launch in November 2026, a two-minute walk from St Paul's station.
